Michaela Caywood, CPA - Lead Tax Strategist

Michaela joined Modern CPAs® in February 2019, officially creating a “team” within the firm. Prior to Modern CPAs®, Michaela worked with Sandy at a Southern California public accounting firm for approximately 8 years.

Michaela is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Long Beach State. Michaela also has her Masters of Business Taxation degree from the University of Southern California. Her personal time includes spending time with her husband in the South Bay where they live. She loves all types of fitness and sports activities, and she can be quite competitive! Having been raised in Northern California, she also enjoys the many visits home to spend time with her family.
